hahah yes kidkawartha! You said it all, there's no way Kessel is going to get pushed around. He might even have more protection on this team than he did with the Bruins, that could mean he's primed to score 40 THIS YEAR. Kessel Blake Hagman as a unit?

EE Davis, that's one of the most fear-filled comments I've seen on this so far. Do you really think Exelby, Orr, Komisarek, Beauchemin, Schenn, etc, etc, etc, are going to let ANYONE lay a damaging hand on Kessel or any other of our stars? The Leafs are coming for your team, and both you and I know it. The Sens by the way, couldn't push around enough crayons to make passable kindergarten art.

Here's a BLanket statemenr about all of Leafs nation: Get over yourself! Phil KEssil is a little man and he's gonna get pushed around by the Sens and the B's. The guy will never approch 35 goals for the rest of his life and brain burke will look as bad as john fergison jr. Believe me, it will happen.

I think Burke gave up too much in this deal. I have a sneaking suspicion that Kessel peaked too early and won't score more than his totals from last season. And will the Leafs be able to trade for a first round pick in this years draft? Seems to me that the Leafs have rushed the rebuilding process in favour of quick results.
